The waters of the ExmouthGulf are used by Humpback Whales as a place of refuge for adult and calves betweenthe beginning of August and November before making their trip through the WestCoast back to their Antarctic feeding grounds.

Whale Shark Season Exmouth

Every year, from mid March to August / September, the best time is to see whales Sharks from Exmouth and from Ningaloo coral. The Walhai is the largest fish in the world and collects along the coast of Ningaloo. We offer these gentle giants the chance to snorkel, and during whale shark season it really is a lifetime as visitors from all over the world go to the Ningaloo Reef.



Due to  the well reported and escalating COVID-19 pandemic, we have made an important  "Community Protection First" decision, that Ningaloo Whale Shark n  Dive shall postpone the start of this season to the 1st of May 2020.
